A new hypervisor-level exploit, Byepervisor Reborn, defeats the PS5 hypervisor on firmware 13.60 and below using an S3-resume AP-launch bug (HCALL 0x0f). With hypervisor memory now writable, the path to running Linux natively on retail PS5 hardware is finally open.
